8. The Crew Motorfest

Despite scoring just consistently "OK" reviews with critics, The Crew franchise has garnered itself quite the passionate fanbase over the years, and for many of them, threequel The Crew Motorfest was the series' strongest entry yet.

From its gorgeous Hawaiian setting to its much-improved car handling and shameless pilfering from the Forza Horizon series, the third time seemed to be the charm for a lot of players.

But on the other hand, it's a game that did little to dissuade those already skeptical about The Crew as an IP, cribbing from the open-world racing formula perfected by Forza in a manner so blatant that, unless you only own a PlayStation 4 or 5, there was little reason to bother with this instead of just sticking with Forza Horizon 5.

Yet even those indifferent to the series mostly accepted The Crew Motorfest to be an improvement over its uneven predecessors, even if it didn't persuade everyone that there's a place in the racing sphere for yet another franchise like this.
