10 Regular Enemies That Look Intimidating But Are Actually A Bit Rubbish

8. Tomb Guardian - Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

Of all the entries on this list, the Tomb Guardian is arguably the most intimidating. Bearing a strong resemblance to The Destroyer, of Thor fame, this is an enemy that exudes an impression of overwhelming solidity and strength.

And indeed, the Tomb Guardian hits hard... if, that is, it can hit you at all. Because as hard as it hits it is also slow. Each and every attack is painfully telegraphed, requiring little concentration to escape before resuming the attack, leading to an uninspired loop of button-mashing and simple dodging. The task is made even easier with Force Push, allowing the player to interrupt the Guardian’s attacks and rush in for easy strikes. Worse, despite the impression of resilience, the Tomb Guardian goes down surprisingly quickly, making it possible to defeat one in less than a minute.

To be fair, in a universe where a lightsaber can lop the legs off of an AT-AT, few opponents should pose much of a problem for a Jedi. However, lightsaber-resistant materials such as Cortosis do exist, and using the Force to manipulate the environment in order defeat an otherwise invulnerable enemy might have been a better use of such a visually striking opponent.
