10 Retro Christmas Video Games To Fill Your Stocking

4. Home Alone & Home Alone 2: Lost In New York

Much like Batman Returns, Home Alone has numerous versions across different consoles. The SEGA versions of the game task you with protecting the houses in the neighbourhood from Harry and Marv's thieving ways whilst you wait an allotted time for the police to show up. You can sled between houses, and when inside you can craft weapons to thwart their plans. The Super Nintendo version was much more simplistic, and just had you saving the family's valuables in a safe before the wet bandits could get them.

The Home Alone 2: Lost In New York video game didn't quite have the same gameplay variety over the different consoles it was released on. All of them largely have you running around New York in a similar fashion to the SNES version of its predecessor.

Though these games may not be the best retro offering out there, old or young, everybody's inner child has wished they were Kevin McCallister at some point. These two games allow you to fulfil that wish.
