Even 27 years after its release, it's unlikely that most long time gamers haven't came across the classic game that is X-Men. Despite being hard, like really hard, it is much loved and came just one year after the even more loved X-Men arcade game.

Now that X-Men game actually had a sequel, released just one year after, called X-Men 2: Clone Wars. The game was roughly based on a comic arc that was occurring at the time of development. In the game, the X-Men must fight an alien race known as Phalanx who've contaminated a sentinel factory. The game also allows you team up with Magneto, and surprisingly Psylocke, who is a playable character for the first time in ever.

However, because the game was released at the tail end of the Mega Drive's lifespan, and after the release of the PlayStation, it was quickly forgotten about. Until right now!
