8. Kinky Death Grunt (Beyond Oasis)

Also known as The Story Of Thor: A Successor Of The Light, Beyond Oasis is all about killing. Well, technically, it's about Prince Ali's mission to stop the new owner of the powerful Silver Armlet, but you'll kill a hell of a lot of enemies along the way.

Indeed, the title throws so many bad guys at you that you'll easily hack hundreds of foes to death before the story is over, and in doing so, you might notice that those hulking humanoid soldiers you're constantly murdering will let out an audible grunt of pain whenever they're killed.

There are a couple of variations of these death grunts and none of them are particularly unusual, except for one: an incredibly rare grunt that sounds suspiciously like a female letting out a moan of pleasure.

It's weird that this file is in the game to begin with, and it's even weirder that it emanates from a dying enemy NPC. There's surprisingly little information online about this too, so we're not even sure why it happens. It seems like it's such an uncommon occurrence that very few people have encountered it.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
