10 Scandals That DESTROYED Fallout 76

7. Empty Content Full Of Bugs

Fallout 76
Bethesda

As well as the lack of NPCs, the in-game content overall felt very hollow. Fetch quest after fetch quest after fetch quest; Fallout 76 makes Anthem looks like it’s bursting at the seams with content.

Then there’s the bugs. Normally with a Bethesda release, they’re taken in good spirits; rarely are they anything more than some wonky animation, and it’s a small price to pay for what is usually a fantastic game.

With Fallout 76 though, the patience has ran out and it’s simply getting tiresome. The small glitches are something most gamers can just crack on with if there’s a huge game to explore, but yet again Fallout 76 just doesn’t deliver.

One of the worst bugs comes in the East section of the map - The Mire - which can cause the game to crash, not reopening until the player restarts. There’s also reports of characters appearing naked or partially invisible, as well as Power Armour which can cause the game to freeze entirely. That’s without getting into loading delays, inaccessible quests, textures failing to load and a host of other issues. It’s just far too many for a game this sub-par to begin with.
