When first arriving at the somewhat scenic cliffs that begin Brightstone Cove Tseldora in Dark Souls 2, you'd be forgiven for thinking this area isn't absolutely horrible. However, as you descend deeper into the caves and tunnels that make up this place it soon becomes clear that this cove is anything but bright – especially if you suffer from arachnophobia.

Making your way through foreboding looking stone doors engraved with spiders, players quickly get a taste for the horror that awaits them as groups of the giant eight-legged crawlies fall from the ceiling in ambush. Thankfully, you can shoot them from their hiding places to prevent these heart attacks from happening.

This is only the beginning.

Going deeper into this cove reveals more of the area’s grim past. Claustrophobic winding tunnels give way to ruined buildings swarming with half-human-half-spider monstrosities who’re ready to turn you into their next snack.

After making it past all of that, players will then need to make their way down a precarious pit full of spiderwebs before facing the boss – a giant two-headed spider named Freja.

This is one area in Dark Souls 2 we won't be revisiting any time soon.
