Just like regular Elder Scrolls games, Elder Scrolls Online allows the player to become a vampire or a werewolf by being infected by other players.

However, there is another unique transformation in the game, and while it doesn't come with any benefits like the previously mentioned two, it has a lot of fun, non-combat applications.

One of the quests in Stonefalls, "A Goblin's Affection," requires you to infiltrate a hostile goblin camp. In order to help you in your mission, your quest-giver provides you with a special item called the Shadowsilk Gem.

The gem lets you transform yourself into one of the Shadowsilk Goblins, helping you move around their camp without instigating any combat.

However, here is the fun part. After you finish the mission, you get to keep the gem, meaning that at any time, any place, or any circumstance, you can shapeshift into a scrawny little green guy in a matter of seconds.

From then on, the possibilities are endless. You can spook your friends with dungeons, pretend to be an NPC, or finish the main storyline as your new alter-ego.

Green is the new black!
