For the most part, Cuphead fans' opinions on bosses are unified. We can all agree Grim Matchstick is WAY too hard. For a final boss, The Devil is surprisingly easy. King Dice is the longest battle, but it's not too bad, once you've memorised his patterns.

But if there's one enemy who's divided gamers, it's Dr. Kahl. In the first phase of this aerial fight, our hero must blast Kahl's automaton, while it shoots lasers, homing missiles, bolts, and sparks.

When you destroy the robot's body, his head whizzes around the arena, attempting to crash into you. Once that's dealt with, you'll face Kahl directly, while he pilots a hovercraft. The Dr. Wily-inspired scientist emits energy bolts in every direction, while electrified walls keep moving towards the player. This is the hardest part of the bout by far, since the screen is littered with obstacles.

However, some players have little trouble with Kahl for one reason - parries. Although parrying is introduced early in the game, it's not a mechanic everyone masters. If you can't nail this technique, Kahl can stop your progress dead. If parrying comes natural to you, you can defeat the mad scientist in two minutes flat.
