10 Settings Assassin's Creed Could Go To Next
6. The War Of The Roses
The War of the Roses was a dangerous and bloody period of English history, and would be a perfect avenue for the developers to stroll into. This was a war fought just as much behind the scenes as on the battlefield, and therefore stealth and espionage would feel right at home.
Assassin's Creed has taken a look at the Victorian English period before, but there is plenty of further history that could be explored. By looking at the conflict between the houses of Plantagenet and Lancaster, there is a tonne of scope to feature famous historical leaders such as Richard III.
Alongside the bloody battles and political discussions came a beautiful design and architecture that would fit right at home with the franchise. Barren fields for the battle scenes could be used to significant effect for feeling powerless and isolated, whereas the beautiful cathedrals and castles would be great for climbing.
There is plenty of the typical set-up for an Assassin's Creed game, alongside what could be some exciting additions.
