The Celtic Britons were a collection of indigenous people who inhabited Great Britain from the Iron to Middle-ages. There is an incredibly appealing early history aesthetic to the culture, and placing the world of Assassin's Creed into such a remote and unique place would be a brave choice.
We have seen games that deal with the cultural and folkloric influences of Celtic Britain before, such as Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. With some gaming success already proving that there is decent appeal to this setting, Ubisoft would be wise to take advantage while its popularity is still young.
Being one of the first triple-A titles to look at this early British period could lead to a wealth of popularity for the period. Ubisoft could be the trendsetters this time instead of following along to something already made mainstream.
While the lack of tall structures could limit the free-running, this would force the developers to look to new avenues and inspire them to explore the architecture of nature.
