When you first start, youll learn that running with the knife makes you faster, and that holding shift makes your footsteps silent, and youll assume thats all there is to learn. Of course, youd be wrong.
Experienced players know exactly where the enemy team are likely to come from, and they know the most effective places to position themselves against enemy fire. They know they can get an easy headshot from the spawn-point on Dust II, and they know exactly where to conceal themselves so as to get a few cheap kills.
