10 Simple Video Games That Are Too Brutal To Master

6. Counter Strike: Global Offensive

Upon first glance, you€™d be excused for assuming that CS: GO was just another multiplayer focused military shooter. Of course, that is far from the case.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive requires a lot of strategising; there are nuances to the game you€™d never know existed, and it takes a long time to truly master them.

When you first start, you€™ll learn that running with the knife makes you faster, and that holding shift makes your footsteps silent, and you€™ll assume that€™s all there is to learn. Of course, you€™d be wrong.

Experienced players know exactly where the enemy team are likely to come from, and they know the most effective places to position themselves against enemy fire. They know they can get an easy headshot from the spawn-point on Dust II, and they know exactly where to conceal themselves so as to get a few cheap kills.

You€™ll eventually learn this stuff too, it just takes a really long time, especially if you€™re already trained in other military shooters. Counter Strike is a different beast entirely, so you better forget everything you think you know about shooters, and get ready to start all over again from scratch.
