10 Spider-Man Comic Arcs That Would Make Incredible Video Games
4. Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales)
If you scoffed at the idea of the Spider-Men or Spider-Man 2099 video game then I'm sorry to say you probably still won't find much to like about this point, but if recent years have told us anything then it's that - while Peter Parker is truly an inspirational hero - there's much more to the Spider-Man identity than just that scrawny New Yorker. Miles Morales has been an exceptional stand-in for the deceased Peter in Marvel's Ultimate universe. Don't believe me? Then ask yourself why both he and Peter are being kept on in the books during the aftermath of Marvel's huge post-Secret Wars slim down. While many variants and alteratives have fallen, Morales is simply too popular to let go. So, since Peter is still to be the movie focus as Spider-Man enters the MCU, why not give Morales the freedom to burst into a huge, free-roaming Spidey game? Starting with the aftermath of Peter's death and the realisation of his powers, the game could see Miles struggle to come to grips with his new responsibility as he tries to win over a world that just doesn't seem ready for a new Spider-Man just yet. The parallels of reality alone make this too good an opportunity to pass up.
