10 Strongest Non-Boss Enemies In The Super Mario Franchise

4. King Bill

Mario T-Rex

Banzai Bill is a gigantic version of the projectile enemy, Bullet Bill. He may look intimidating due to his immense size but he doesn't pose much of a threat since he can be defeated with a simple knock on the noggin.

King Bill, on the other hand, is the biggest and the strongest version of Bullet Bill. KB may look silly with his goofy grin but his power cannot be emphasised enough. This screen-filling beast obliterates everything he touches; blocks, walls, pipes, and Italian plumbers. If you touch any part of him, you'll suffer damage. He blasts through the screen vertically and horizontally so you need to stay on your toes at all times.

Although most versions of Bullet Bill zoom through area, this monstrous projectile moves at a snail's pace. Ironically, his sluggish speed makes him more dangerous. If he zipped by, you could just jump over him. Because he moves so slowly and is continually smashing platforms, you need to constantly dodge this fiend.

On top of everything else, the king of bullets' eyes follow your every move, just to make him more terrifying.
