10 Talented Voice Actors You'll Find In All Your Favourite Video Games

1. John DiMaggio - Gears Of War, X-Men Legends, Halo 3, Shadow Of Mordor

Bite John’s shiny metal voice! Yep, the voice of Bender Bending Rodriguez is a prolific voice artist for video games and many of you would never have known! DiMaggio’s most famous role has appeared in Futurama and Simpson’s video games but he’s done a lot more than that in his time I can assure you.

His first foray into video games was as Tai Fu in the Playstation title ‘Wrath of the Tiger’ which I can openly admit to never having heard of before now and DiMaggio’s vocal talents were soon all over the television and video game spectrum.

Usually playing antagonists (or robot anti-heroes), DiMaggio can be heard as Rhino in Spider-Man 2, Juggernaut in X-Men Legends, the Brute Chieftain in Halo 3, basically every villain in Lego Marvel Super Heroes and the Hammer of Sauron in Shadow of Mordor.

Nothing special you may be saying? Well, prepare to have your minds altered for the better.

John DiMaggio of Bender fame is, and always has been, the voice of Marcus Fenix. The Gears of War protagonist has some truly superb dialogue for DiMaggio to get his vocal chords around –especially in the most recent instalment – and the grizzled elite soldier is the reason DiMaggio sits atop this list.

Oh, and he’s also the voice of Jake the Dog in Adventure Time which is cool.
