10 Terrible Video Games Based On Movies

2. Jumper: Griffin's Story (PS2/Wii/Xbox)

Here's one video game that wasn't even blessed with, like most games on this list, having good source material to work from; Jumper was a woeful misfire from the usually reliable Doug Liman, and makes for an equally, if not more dispiriting video game, bereft of entertainment value, ending up just as coherent as its movie counterpart. There's not much to the game; you play a supporting character from the film, spending most of the game running around a poorly-rendered world - seriously, we would believe it if someone said it was a late-day PS1 game - beating up innumerable amounts of enemies and not much else. The most criminal thing is that the game completely squanders the film's coolest idea, about the protagonist being able to "jump"; you can teleport small distances and occasionally jump with an enemy to perform a kill, but it's done in the most uninspired, uncinematic way possible, not even living up to the rickety standard set by the terrible film.
