The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time should always have a place amongst the best video games ever made.

In what is largely considered a fairly fun and mostly light-hearted addition to the Legend of Zelda franchise, when Ocarina does start to hit the terror notes, it really hammers them.

Players actually encounter Dead Hand twice in the original version of the game, once in the Bottom of the Well and once in the Shadow Temple. An undead terror made up of long flailing arms with a sickly pale white complexion, Dead Hand's scares comes from the frightening settings players are forced to traverse through beforehand.

On top of the scary looks and the scary settings, there's the fact that this remains a really tough fight for your first time around. Even when the initial fight is over and you look to have won the day, Dead Hand is once again on hand to deliver a chilling moment with his writhing and howling on the floor.

Timing is everything with Dead Hand, which surely becomes increasingly harder to lock down once your nerves are shredded to pieces.
