As we've discussed, the main reason why Disney Infinity deserves your attention over Activision's Skylanders franchises is the strength of the Disney character roster. In the game itself, these characters come alive with vibrant color and vivid animation, authentically recreating the stars we've come to love from the films. Out of the game, handsomely crafted from premium plastic compounds, the figurines are just stunning. It calls to some part deep inside the collector, when you've seen a character in a film who you can relate to in some way, or whose performance stuck in your mind more than others, when you see that character sitting on a store shelf, it's hard to resist.
