10 Things Everybody Hates About AMAZING Video Games

7. It's Locked At 30 FPS - Bloodborne

To date, Bloodborne remains the only FromSoftware game that's locked to 30 frames-per-second, and given its massively punishing nature, where split-second decisions can distinguish life from death, it just doesn't feel good enough.

Bloodborne is of course a mesmerising game and one of the finest things the esteemed studio has ever produced, so it's maddening that despite releasing almost eight years ago, there's still no legal way to play it at a higher framerate.

Though hackers have managed to get the game running at 60fps using dubious means, with the strange absence of both a PS5 patch and PC release of any kind, straight-and-narrow players are stuck with 30fps.

This low framerate is made immeasurably worse by the game's infamously inconsistent frame-pacing, which to this day continues to produce a stutter effect.

The fact that hackers solved this problem years ago, and yet FromSoftware refuses to release an official patch, is absolutely ludicrous.
