10 Things Everybody Hates About AMAZING Video Games
6. The Dog Encounters - The Last Of Us Part II
As much as The Last of Us Part II's story proved hugely divisive, there's one part of the core gameplay which most can agree didn't quite work - the inclusion of dog enemies.
In certain sections of the game, your pursuers will come in tow with trained attack dogs who can put up quite the fight, and unsurprisingly many players balked at the idea of having to kill doggos for one's own survival.
Now, you absolutely can avoid killing dogs throughout the game - save for one interactive scene - but it requires being incredibly sneaky and actively distracting them to throw them off your scent.
As such, many felt that the inclusion of dog enemies was a cheap frustration, because killing them was horrific for the canine-inclined, but sneaking past them was rather a chore.
In a game where engagements with human enemies are certainly diverse and challenging enough, a lot of fans wish that Naughty Dog made dog foes a togglable extra.
