10 Things Only Battlefield Players Will Understand

7. Being Left Behind On A Flag And Hiding In A Building For Dear Life

Battlefield, at its core, is a team game, and one that’s hard to succeed at if a player is on their own.

So when your squad hops onto a bike deep into the enemy spawn and rides off into the sunset without you, it can be just the teeniest bit frustrating.

Seriously though, we’ve all been there, frantically capturing a flag with your teammates and hoping the enemy doesn’t spot you, only to find you’ve been left all alone. And when that happens, there’s only one thing to do:

Hide like an absolute coward in the hope that the enemy team is too busy looking at their phones to notice you.

There’s no heroes in war, soldier, only survivors.

Or so you'll tell yourself as you shamefully slink away from a four man squad busy getting resupplied.

What’s even worse is then getting back to the rendezvous point, the controller covered in a thin sheen of cold, fearful sweat, only to realise the battle’s already moved on to the next area. So everyone’s gone. Again. Aaaaaaaand there’s three enemy LAV’s rumbling over the horizon.

Well, thank God for unlimited sprint.
