10 Things Pro Evolution Soccer Needs To Change To Compete With FIFA Again

1. More Content In My Club

Finally, the mode created to rival FIFA’s Ultimate Team, My Club. In essence, it is very similar, you build a team by opening different coloured balls to then take to the online pitch. However, this year no new additional content added to it, with the exception of more opportunities to spend real money!

One of the biggest flaws on My Club this year was the ability to build a world class team in a matter of days with minimal effort and zero spend. While the number of players available is much lower than on its rival this needs to be addressed. However, its biggest problem is the lack of content to play throughout the year.

FIFA has added to Ultimate Team each year, with features such as Weekend League, Squad Battles, Rivals and this year Season goals. My Club boils down to ranked matches and challenges which are still just one off games.

The feature that FUT does well is its weekly content, new challenges, new players. It is basically endless. PES needs to look towards this. So far it releases weekly featured players and weekly teams which you can potentially get there stars names, but it is very limited reward for putting the hours into the game, especially when many of these featured players are locked behind payment only coins.

The options of what they could bring in are limitless and in the current gaming environment My Club has to be utilised to its max, or players will lose interest early in the yearly cycle.
