10 Things Uncharted 4 Already Does Better Than Quantum Break

Let me be clear - I think Quantum Break's TV show is the best part about it; it has the most natural performances from the actors, tells a fairly self-aware cheesy conspiracy storyline, and has a payoff that sees one character dispatch a number of foes in a stylish way. It's not objectively brilliant, but for what QB is trying to 'be', its TV counterpart is the best execution of that.

However, introducing the TV component means that you have to sit through 20 minutes of an episode every couple of hours, detaching you from the character you're playing as and filling you in on ancillary antagonists (or are they?) scuttling about in the background. By the time Act 5 comes and both stories converge, narrative payoffs are cast aside as you gun down one of the TV show's biggest wannabe heroes like they were nothing.

For all the TV show adds in terms of world-building, its fundamentally side content that doesn't enrich the experience. It'd make a fun, dumb Netflix show, but as a tool to heighten your enjoyment of Quantum Break, it feels bolted on.
