7. Shooting Is MUCH Better In Multiple Ways
There was always something just that little bit 'off' when it came to how Uncharted's gunplay felt, in that emptying a clip into a guy came across as very weightless and ultimately like you were firing 'through' enemies, rather than into them. Taking cover and reloading a gun had a metallic clang as you booted the next clip into the housing, but its a sense of tactile feedback that - for me, anyway - never translated into the shooting itself. No more however, as Naughty Dog have remedied this too. No longer are you firing a gun with bullets made of foam, instead every firearm feels meaty and responsive, the requisite kickback from holding onto something like a clattering AK-47 having the appropriate level of destruction to your opponent. Taking a page out of Call of Duty's book, the reticule itself will also change depending on if you're connecting with your target or if you've nailed a headshot, which is very helpful in more frantic situations where you're managing multiple enemies at once. Although these were sporadic in the multiplayer, chances are there'll be various large-scale gunfights in the campaign where you'll need to be quick on your feet, alternating fire appropriately.
