5. Microtransactions Look To Be Mostly Cosmetic

Naughty Dog clarified a while back that Uncharted 4 was going to feature microtransactions, and thankfully, now that we've glimpsed a look at the unlockable screen, it appears everything the vast majority of things you can plump down additional cash on are mostly cosmetic. Hats, sunglasses, character body skins - you get the idea, and it's nothing to worry about. The devs even clarified in October that no items will be 'gated' by microtransactions, and that you can earn everything through standard play no matter what. This tends to be the go-to fallback whenever any negativity is cast on the existence of microtransactions in the first place (the whole, "they're just there for anyone who wants them' kinda thing) but it'll be very interesting to see how all of this is balanced, if the option to 'pay to win' is in there regardless.
