10 Things Uncharted 4’s Beta Revealed About The Full Game
4. Multiplayer Runs At A Steady 60fps
Uncharted 4 marks the second console game to put a focus on a solid 60 frames per-second resolution, following 2015's Halo 5 nailing it last October. Naughty Dog actually came out and said hitting this frame rate was an important part of delivering on a truly great multiplayer experience, and for as much as the vast majority of the 30 vs. 60 debate rarely holds water to me, seeing it in action does make a considerable difference. From the second you drop into a match, immediately movement is fluid and responsive. Firefights don't see any drop in frames either, meaning that when everything from supernatural fireballs to grenade explosions and power-ups are being deployed in unison, it stays fluid and confident. Whilst you can easily wave your finger at the very idea of Uncharted's multiplayer if you're only there for the story, the fact remains that if you do elect to give it a shot, from a technical standpoint it's going to be one of the best on the market.
