9. Include A VR Mode
Okay, so hear me out on this one...
For the vast majority of us, the feeling of walking out in front of a capacity crowd as our theme music hits is little more than a pipe dream, so what better way to offer fans an immersive experience than including a virtual reality mode in the upcoming game?
I mean sure, actually having a match in VR would almost certainly be a pretty clumsy, nausea-inducing experience, but that doesn't mean that an option to allow players to walk around and interact with your colleagues backstage, or cut scathing promos in front of a baying audience couldn't be great little additional feature, particularly with Sony's commitment to continuing supporting the PSVR into the PS5's lifecycle.
Of course, while ensuring that regular gameplay is up to scratch should undoubtedly be the number one priority for the game's developers, a VR experience would be completely unique in a wrestling game, and if done correctly could be a staple of the series going forward.
