Sly Cooper is a very popular video game franchise, and at the height of its success PlayStation took advantage of this popularity. With some of the other games they created, they added Sly as well as other members of the gang into them.
One of the games where he was a playable character was PlayStation Move Heroes, a game created to help promote the launch of the PlayStation Move. Another game was PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, a game very similar to Super Smash Bros but with popular PlayStation characters instead of Nintendo characters.
