10 Things You Didn't Know About Wolfenstein

2. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

In yet another covert but discoverable reference to a different franchise, a certain helmet crosses the boundary from an open world Bethesda action game, to the studios' Nazi-killer thriller. During The Old Blood's prologue, after you enter Castle Wolfenstein, the player can find an iron helmet resting on some boxes. The helmet shown is actually from Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

The head-piece features horns on each side, which appear differently depending on gender. For males, the horns are seen as quite short and curved slightly inwards. In contrast, the female helmets appear significantly more curved and turned upwards.

With other Bethesda titles including Rage, Dishonored and the Evil Within, we can expect to see small references between the publishing giants' games in future releases.
