10 Things You Need To Know About The Cancelled Justice League Video Game

8. It Was Based On A Film That Never Happened

This cancelled game was based on a canned movie that was based on elements seen in both the comic books and animated television series versions of the Justice League. The film would have been one of the biggest movie productions in history. It would have been produced by Christopher Nolan, directed by Zach Snyder and would have starred Christian Bale as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman. In the end, of course, Christian Bale didn't reprise his role as Batman - Ben Affleck controversially took on the role - and DC and Warner Brothers opted to flesh out their cinematic universe before jumping into a Justice League movie too rashly, taking a leaf out of Marvel's book in the process.
