10 Things You Need To Know About The Cancelled Justice League Video Game

7. Development Continued For Two Years After the Film Was Scrapped

The actual scrapping of the scrapped Justice League film occurred more than six years ago, but development for the game that was going to be based on it actually continued for a further two years until the latter stages of 2010. Why this was actually the case is anybody's guess. Perhaps the people behind the game were still optimistic that the movie would receive a green light, or maybe they were so confident about the game itself that they thought it could succeed on its own. Regardless, they scrapped the game in the end and that was probably for the best for a variety of reasons - not least because it didn't look very playable and it didn't have the film's potential success to piggyback on.
