8. Isolated Isles - Kirby And The Forgotten Land

The post-apocalyptic world of Kirby and The Forgotten Land is not the only "post" thing the game does well. It also has a pretty fun and oddly in-depth post-game mode.

After beating the final boss of the game, Leongar, Kirby and his friend get sucked into an alternate, bizarro version of their world, which includes harder versions of all of the levels from the base game.

This adds a ton of fun new challenges on its own, but just in case you needed more, all the bosses from the base game get significantly stronger too.

Well, all except Leongar, who is replaced by Morpho Knight: a Dark Souls-level boss in terms of both his design and being a pain in the behind.

Beating Morpho Knight awards you with his sword, which is one of the strongest power-ups in the game. You're going to need it, as the game is still not done!

To fully beat Kirby & The Forgotten Land and get the true ending (yes, that's a thing), you'll have to face off against the true final boss, Fecto Elfilis, The Great One.

For a game about a cute pink puff ball, this is some really heavy stuff.
