Enemy ambushes are to be expected in a Soulsborne title. They’re as commonplace as seeing the words “You Died” or stumbling upon a poison swamp. Some foes may be waiting around a corner to push you off a ledge, others may be waiting on the ceiling to jump down at the worst possible moment, and some even pop out of the ground to surprise you.

Often found in groups and with a fondness for pouncing on players, these creepy crawlies can easily overwhelm unexpecting Ashen Ones and introduce them to the rows of razor-sharp teeth where their chest should be.
