10 Times Just Not Giving A F**K Gave Us Great Video Games

6. WarioWare

Wario has always been one of Nintendo's more bizarre creations. Originally introduced as a villain, Wario has since become an antihero in his own right with his own line of games, usually revolving around his quest for treasure. Desperate to prove that Mario isn't the only one that can throw a great party though, Wario fronted his own line of party games - the WarioWare series. In accordance with Wario's bizarre persona, the WarioWare series is absolutely mental. It's made up of a series of minigames (or microgames as the series calls them) which mostly last no longer than five seconds. Typically, you'll have to push one button or move slightly but the real trick is grasping what the game requires you to do in the tiny amount of time it gives you. For example, one is a Pac-Man style maze where Wario must collect all the coins; when the game speeds up at higher levels, it can get amazingly frantic. Best of all, WarioWare has made the most of every platform it's been available on. The DS version utilised the stylus and microphone in most minigames; the Wii version required you to hold and use the Wiimote in different positions; and there was even a Game Boy Advance version which had a gyro sensor in the cartridge, making twisting and turning the handheld a key feature of the games. If you've never played WarioWare before, it's definitely worth a try; the pace and the style of the game makes it excitingly unique. It's definitely one of Nintendo's lesser appreciated gems.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
