10 Times Nintendo Games Were Not Family Friendly

7. House Of The Dead: Overkill (Wii)

The on-rails shooter genre was a natural fit for the Wii, given the motion controls that were the console’s main selling point. As one of the top names in the genre, The House of the Dead made its debut with a double pack containing the second and third games. Following this success, an original prequel to the series was created, taking many cues from old exploitation movies.

The interplay between the two player characters Isaac Washington and “G” is often hilarious, with Isaac becoming increasingly incredulous at his surroundings (and expressing it with copious amounts of f-words), while G remains comically stoic throughout the experience, telling off his partner whenever he tries to use the Z word.

With a plot involving zombies (“MUTANTS!”), strippers, mad scientists, and blood (LOTS of blood), this is definitely not one to play when the family is round.
