10 Times You Were An Utter Dick To NPCs

7. Ride To Nowhere - Rollercoaster Tycoon / Theme Park World

It's one thing to pick on random NPCs than exist in the world around you, but in some games they're essentially your currency. In the likes of SimCity, Theme Hospital and other "sim" style games, your success is reliant on the number of non-specific NPCs that come your way, as well as their well-being.

For example, in the likes of Rollercoaster Tycoon and Theme Park World, you need to make sure your amusement park has clean toilets, a good selection of food and some enjoyable rides. And, of course, best of all you get to design those rides yourself!

Just make sure one end connects to the other, or your customers might fly off into oblivion. Unless... that's what you want?

Without a doubt, every single player of these games has done this at least once. And why? Maybe just to see if you could. But then, you wonder, what else can you do?

There is a shocking number of creative ways to make sure your guests' visit is to die for, including all manner of rides and elevators to nowhere, or just those that go so fast that the car comes flying off the track whether it's complete or not.

And then you can watch with twisted joy as the next set of guests get on, somehow oblivious to the ride's death count.
