Days Gone was always going to be a game that valued detail over anything else. When its original teaser trailers and gameplay vertical slices flooded the internet, fans and critics took note of how mud tracks were left by the bikes, how the zombies (or Freakers, as this game calls them) crawled over one another to get to Deacon, and even how the weather affected enemy patterns and deployments.
