10 Truly Terrible Video Games Based On Great TV Shows

2. Dark Angel

Oh look! Another series shown on Channel Five at 3am got its own video game and it’s terrible, how strange!

Dark Angel was a mediocre series that drew a decent audience but it was mostly thanks to Jessica Alba’s unbelievable… acting… definitely acting. Porting the sci-fi series to a game should’ve been a simple task; everything was laid out for the developers in the content of the show – so what went wrong?

It wasn’t the dodgy stealth mode or the fact the solutions to puzzles were highlighted ridiculously obviously throughout the game that ruin it. Instead, it’s the comedy factor of it all. Alba’s character, Max, is an augmented human who can leap several feet in the air with ease but the level restrictions prevent her from jumping over a knee high fence...

It’s broken, repetitive, and basically on rails. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad.
