9. Whatever Happened To Rebecca Chambers? - Resident Evil
While Rebecca Chambers is hardly anybody's favourite character, her disappearance from the series is odd. Sure, she was the lead in prequel game Resident Evil Zero, but she hasn’t appeared in any of the games since.
This is partly down to creator Shinji Mikami not liking her, and also because the series has no shortage of more interesting heroes. Still, fans were always curious to learn what happened to her next.
They got their answer in a very unlikely form: a Japanese play.
Dubbed Biohazard The Stage, it finds Rebecca appearing as a guest lecturer at a college, only to reveal she’s working undercover to investigate bio-terrorism claims. Naturally enough she’s correct, and she teams up with Chris Redfield once more to bring an end to such shenanigans.
She may never appear in another game again, but it’s good to know she’s keeping busy.
