10 Unfair Boss Fights Designed To Piss You Off

Bloodborne's 'The Old Hunters' expansion really separated the men from the boys when it first launched back in 2015. The base game was challenging enough, but this sizeable add-on pushed players to their very limits.

Any of The Old Hunter's incredibly tough bosses (aside from the Living Failures, they sucked) could have potentially made this list for their sheer difficulty, but only one of them qualifies as truly unfair.

Enter Laurence, the First Vicar.

This re-skin of the Cleric Beast has some real nasty tricks up his sleeve that make this fight an uphill battle from the word go. For starters, he's literally on fire so any of his attacks have that added burn factor. His attacks are also wildly unpredictable and the confined arena makes evading him quite difficult.

The absolute worst part however is that when you get him down to half health, he splits in half and bleeds lava from his exposed organs, meaning you can't get round the back of him to avoid his frenzied striking. You simply have to tank damage, keep on the offensive and hope for the best.

He's entirely optional though, so it's up to you whether you decide to face him.
