10 Unova Pokémon We Can’t Wait To Catch In Pokémon Go

Speaking of definitive Pokémon of the Unova region, Krookodile is one of Black & White’s most recognisable Pokémon. They haven’t quite reached Bidoof levels of iconic from the last region, but (Legendaries aside), no one represents Unova quite as well as Krookodile.

For players familiar with the base games then, Krookodile is sure to be high up the catch list. Some Pokémon just pass you by, especially in a region this big. After being used heavily in the marketing and the anime though, that’s not a fate which has befallen Krookodile.

This popularity may work against it in the immediate sense though, as it may be held back for a later roll out. The same thing happened to Gible in Gen IV, resulting in the ‘mon being one of the last to be released in the generation.

Away from the fanbase appeal, Krookodile will likely win over newcomers too. Evolving from Krokorok, Krookodile looks like an angry red Power Ranger after morphing and wearing sunglasses. It’s certainly a memorable look and it’s sure to become as popular in Go as it is in Black & White.
