10 Upcoming 2016 Video Games We Can’t Wait To See More Of

3. Pokémon Sun & Moon

Here's one hot off the presses. The seventh generation of Pokémon games were confirmed to exist in a presentation by Nintendo in March, although we all suspected as much thanks to a leak just days prior to the Big N making it official. Pokémon Sun & Moon will arrive for 3DS during 'Holiday' 2016. That's all the solid information any of us are getting for now, unfortunately. Nintendo declined to give us even a whiff of where or when Sun & Moon will be set, but the lack of solid details at least gives ample room for speculation. Which real-world location will the games landmass be based upon this time around? Japan, France and parts of North America have already been used extensively, so how about Central Asia or Australia this time around? Wherever it's set, you can be sure the new region will bring with it another batch of suitably-themed Pocket Monsters to catch, evolve and breed in an effort to give life to the ultimate fighter. Mega Evolution will no doubt return too, and with its focus now being primarily on breathing new life into some of the older entries in the Pokédex, I can't wait to see which veterans are given more time in the spotlight. It's time: give us Mega Dragonite, please!
