Titanfall developers Respawn Entertainment are hard at work on their Star Wars-themed third-person action-adventure title, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Little is known about the game so far in fairness, beyond it being a story-driven single-player effort in which the player controls a Jedi Padawan following the events of Revenge of the Sith.

But when EA and Star Wars get together, we all know how infuriating the results can be, and despite Respawn's clear developmental talent, they're obviously hungry for a commercial hit after Titanfall 2's infuriating market failure.

It wouldn't be remotely surprising if the game ends up packed with frustrating open-world bloat, such as towers that have to be activated to unlock parts of the map, generic side missions, collectathon nonsense and, yes, probably some form of microtransactions to boot.

This is of course total conjecture, but given EA's relentless hunger for more money, it'd be absolutely mind-boggling if Fallen Order ended up a straight-forward, Uncharted-esque Star Wars game with little-to-no bloat and intrusive purchasables.
