10 Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games To Get Excited About
5. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles
Technically, this entry violates the stipulation from this article's intro that said no reports or remasters would make it to this list. However, seeing as the Ace Attorney games have never been released outside of Japan, this manages to sneak its way on board with very few "Objections!".
For the uninitiated, Ace Attorney is a bombastic series that makes courtroom drama look like Dragon Ball Z. This re-release comes with The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures, and its sequel, The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve, giving you plenty of bang for your buck. You'll take control of Ryunosuke, an ancestor of the series mainstay Phoenix Wright, as he searches for evidence and battles in court cases to solve a criminal conspiracy.
This gaming franchise sets up something, unlike anything you've played before. The witty/energetic gameplay and character work are easy to get invested in, and this introduction to western markets is hopefully a forerunner for more games to come.
You've only got to wait a month to head to court with this one, as it comes to the Switch on 27 July 2021.
