2. Tom Clancy's The Division (PC, PS4, Xbox One - Q4 2014)
The "always-online" trend continues with Tom Clancy's The Division, easily one of the most visually impressive next-gen titles to date, and one which should extend the Clancy gaming brand even further. A virus has wiped out the US near enough in 5 days, and you are part of The Division, a task force who must try to salvage what's left of the country by teaming up with friends and other players, to face off against NPCs and also other factions. With its massive, open-world, this game has the potential to take squad-based combat to the next level in ways that CoD has just never been able to due to its (generally) more frantic style. With headset-based play and a vast area to explore, if Ubisoft can meet the hype, then next year's CoD is going to have more than its share to deal with.
