10 Upcoming 'Souls Like' Games To Play After Dark Souls 3

Try though they might, we're yet to witness a game that has truly emulated the Souls formula as well as a Souls game. It's as if series' creator Hidetaka Miyazaki has a magic touch that no one can quite place their finger on.

Miyazaki's said time and again that Dark Souls is finished after the third game, and this was confirmed again in a recent interview with GNN Gamer, when he said that, while he may delegate a Souls game to someone else at From Software, "what is certain for now is, to me personally Dark Souls is over".

But in the same interview, he also admitted that he's already working on a new IP, which should be enough to get any Souls fan salivating. Bloodborne proved that the series formula can thrive outside of the medieval-fantasy setting, and it'd be great to see what dark and gruelling world he can come up with next.

Think of the possibilities: Maybe something more futuristic along the lines of From's Armoured Core? More Bloodborne? Whatever it could be, in Miyazaki's hands it's sure to be awesome, and the fact that he's working on something, anything, so soon after Dark Souls 3 is great news for the gaming community.
