10 Upcoming Video Game Graphics That Will BLOW YOU AWAY

2. Resident Evil 4 Remake

Rarely has a gaming franchise been revitalised itself better than when Capcom released Resident Evil 4. Starting off as a Gamecube exclusive, Capcom quickly noticed RE4 was too good to be on a single console, inspiring them to port the sequel to every system under the Sun. (It was even ported to the Zeebo. I don't even know what that is!)

Because the remakes of RE2 and RE3 were met with high praise, many hoped the best entry in the survival horror series would get a do-over as well.

Although a RE4 Remake teaser was...um... teased back in June, we only got to see the game in action recently.

And it looked glorious.

Rather than just giving the graphics a general overhaul, Capcom splashed everything in darkness and grime, making every environment and enemy far creepier. (They really didn't have to. The Chainsaw Man was already terrifying enough.)

Although the original Resident Evil 4 emphasised action over scares, the disturbing redesigns and dimmed lighting in this remake prove Capcom is going back to its roots, by focusing more on atmosphere and building tension.

So, if you pissed yourself while battling the El Gigante or a Regenerator in the original, wait until you get a load of them in this version.
