10 Upcoming Video Game Sequels Nobody Asked For

2. Just Dance 2017

Since its beginning in 2009, the Just Dance franchise has released a new title every year to a fairly mixed critical response but strong sales, likely from the casual gaming crowd.

Still, even those who buy these games would surely agree that an annual release really isn't necessary at all, especially considering that new songs could merely be released via paid DLC updates periodically. This truly is milking the cash cow.

Could It Be Any Good?: On one hand, it's extremely cool that Just Dance 2017 will be the first of the franchise to release on PC and also Nintendo NX, but on the other, it's hard to expect the 2017 edition to stray from the fairly simplistic series formula.

It's fun and accessible, but not much more, and certainly not in need of a retail-priced, boxed game.
