10 Video Game Achievements That RUIN The Game

8. Hexer - Dragon Age: Origins

The magic system in Dragon Age: Origins is one of the most advanced in the whole franchise. It features four unique schools of magic, with plenty of spells and applications.

Each school is built around one gimmick, which is why it's fun to mix them all together. Building your character entirely around one school, however? Not so much...

And yet, this is exactly what you need to do in order to get four achievements in the game. You have to learn all the spells from all four schools separately.

Now, learning only damage or healing spells, like you do with Primal and Creation schools, is fine, but when it comes to the school of Entropy, for which you get the Hexer achievement, it's quite a different tale.

Being a weird mix between damage spells and debilitating curses, the Entropy School is useful at times, but, for the most part, it's extremely situational. Without your companions to carry the bulk of the combat, you'll feel your character falling behind, as it's hard for the spells to do much on their own.

Well, at least you get to call yourself the master of Entropy. Not that anyone else would want to compete for that title...
