If you thought Call of Duty: World at War asking you to die 20 times was a tall order, it's got nothing on Hotline Miami's deranged KARMA achievement.

The 'cheev, unlockable in both Hotline Miami games, requires players to die a total of 1,000 times.

Now, that might sound so daunting that only the most hardcore achievement hunters would even bother attempting it, yet as anyone who's actually played Hotline Miami knows, death is a constant throughout.

On a run through either game's campaign, you're likely to die several hundred times in the very least, given the trial-and-error nature of the gameplay, where you'll die in a single hit most of the time.

But in the event that you need to hoover up a few hundred extra kills in order to reach the precious 1,000, it's easy to find sections of each game where you can be killed within a second or two and quickly respawn to do it again. Rinse and repeat for a little while and you're golden.
